HamburgerKino invites you to the 18th International KinoKabaret Hamburg! 

Finally, after the lockdown we are happy to be back again!
The KinoKabaret is your chance to experience making a short film in the most incredibly easy and thrilling way!
It’ll be creative, productive, communicative and intense and you’ll have tremendous fun doing it!
Ever dreamt of being on a film set without all the shitty stuff normally connected to it all?
Then come and join the KinoKabaret from Sept 2nd - Sept 10th 2022 and celebrate with us the 18th edition and the 20th anniversary of HamburgerKino!
Again, the KinoLab will be in the FilmFabrique, in the old warehouse district Oberhafen in the harbor area. It´s a playground for cultural and creative projects. 

Around 150 crazy filmmakers full of energy from all over the world will meet and produce up to 100 short films in 1 x 12 hours, and 2 x 72 hours. At the end of each round, the films will be screened at different locations at the Oberhafen and at the Metropolis cinema.

At the center of the KinoKabaret, the KinoLab, you´ll be able to find a team, equipment and locations within a few minutes.
Some equipment will be provided by sponsors. Everyone can participate. Whether you’re a pro or an absolute beginner – just come and give it a go, realize what you’ve always been dreaming of (or feared most) and push your talents to the max!

We will sort out, what will be needed to make this event Covid19 safe,
but for now, fully vaccination or being recovered and a fresh rapid antigen covid test will be needed.
