How about making shortfilms in a very creative, productive, communicative and intense way?
And how about having tremendous fun doing it?
Ever dreamt of being on a film set without all the shitty stuff normally connected to it?

Then come and join the 12th KinoKabaret Hamburg from May 31 – June 08 2013 !!!

Again, about 200 freaks from all over the world will meet and produce up to 150 shortfilms in 4x 48hs. At the end of each round, these will be screened in different locations as part of the Hamburg International Short Film Festival.
Taking part in a KinoKabaret is the easiest (and thrilling) way to make a shortfilm.
 You´ll find a team, equipment and locations within a few minutes.
 Some equipment will be provided by sponsors and we´ll provide places to sleep for those from abroad.
Everyone can participate. Whether you’re pro or absolute beginner – just give it a go, realize what you’ve always been dreaming of (or feared most) and push your talents to the max!

We’re not sure we can make a better KinoKabaret than last year, but being supported by the EU-program “Youth in Action”, we will try our best to give you another 9 days to remenber. If you want to feel the spirit, watch this short documentaries and check out the fotos of 2010-2012!

Again, the KinoLab will be in the famous Gaengeviertel!
The Gaengeviertel is a neighborhood consisting of 12 buildings, managed by a big group of artists who set up lots of galleries and studios. HamburgerKino’s permanent KinoLab is also located there.
